David and Marcia Martin have shared their love of theatre since, well, let's just say a long time . . . and they continue to inspire the appreciation of acting in young, and old alike. Ephrata ACT has been entertaining the region at the Brossman Business Complex since 1994 As a not-for-profit entity.
Each year their full production stage is filled with original, and well known plays, musicals and skits that are interpretted on stage by established and new to the acting scene, young talent. Always a teacher, Marcia is constantly on the lookout to find a glimmer of talent in a newcomer so she can stir up their excitement and energy that they bring to the big stage. She then adds her years of experience and helps create budding actors, ready to take on the world.
The Martins have a lot of exciting shows planned for the upcoming seasons. They are always preparing music and scripts well before they are ever needed. Dave is in charge of acquiring the necessary furniture, backdrops, props and the sound & lighting volunteers necessary to make all the "not so glamorous" parts of the productions happen. |
